Ruth Louise Franklin

Ruth is survived by her mother Kathleen Utley, Chorley, UK;Husband, Kenneth Franklin, her son Jack and brother Brendon all of Chorley, UK. She is preceded in death by her Father Kevin Utley and brother Martin Utley.

Ruth was born on June 21, 1967 in Salford, UK to Kathleen and Kevin Utley.. During her first marriage, Jack was born. After 15 years of marriage, she divorced and eventually reconnected with and married her teenage sweetheart, Ken Franklin at the age of 43. Her son remembers her as a kind, giving and loving mother who encouraged him to pursue his goals.

Ruth loved homemaking and kept a meticulous home. She was kind, generous and had a pretty unique sense of humor.

A gathering of friend and family will be held at 1pm at Blount & Curry Life Event Center 605 South Macdill Ave, Tampa FL 33609, with a memorial service beginning at 2pm. Jerod Stadel will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ruth's life. The family would like to thank the many doctors and hospital staff for their excellent care over the last 10 years that gave Ruth the chance for enjoy many happy times and create fond memories for so many people.
