Ruby A. Huff

Ruby Huff passed peacefully sunday jan 23rd in Tampa, Fl at the age of 91. She was surrounded by her loving sons until her passing at memorial hospital. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, 1 sister and three husbands Ruby is survived by her 5 sons, 6 grand children, 7 great grand children, and 2 great great grand children. She is also survived by the sister of her heart June Cribb. Ruby was born may 8th 1930 in Rock, West Virginia to Alford and Clara Snider. Ruby married Victor Young in Pearisburg, Va on July 26th 1949 . They produced 1 son, Ricky. Ruby married Robert Staples in Oklahoma city, Ok on Dec 11th 1952. They produced 2 sons, Robert and Rodney.

Ruby married Blanchard Huff in Tampa, Fl. on July 6th 1960. They produced 2 sons, Richard and Ronald.

Ruby enjoyed reading, playing cards, painting ceramics, playing bingo, working crossword puzzles and travelling. Ruby had a great love of animals of all kinds, but especially squirrels and cats. The viewing is scheduled for Jan 31st from 4-6 pm with the funeral service at 6 pm. Viewing and service will be at the Blount & Curry Funeral home at 605 s Macdill Ave, Tampa, Fl. Commital service will be 1030 am Feb 1st at the Florida National Cemetary located in Bushnell, Fl. Services will be performed by the Rev. James. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ruby's life. The family would like to thank Ruby's caregivers Martha and Genee for their wonderful and caring help and dedication in keeping her happy and safe over the years.
