Ruben Robert Delgado

Ruben is survived by his wife, Diane Delgado; children, Pamela Rodriguez (Rick), Michele “Miki” Leistl and Ruben “Butch” Delgado II (Grace); grandchildren, Jose, Brooke, Bailee, Chase, Domenic, Kendall, and Ricky; siblings, Armando Delgado (Margie) and Diana Ferreira of Tampa. He is preceded in death by his parents, Armando and Mercedes Delgado, of Tampa.

Ruben was born on 03/13/1946 in Tampa, FL. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1964, joined the Navy Reserves, and then continued his education at the University of South Florida. He married Diane Delgado on April 30, 1966. In 1977, he founded Appliance Parts Headquarters, Inc. in Largo, FL where he retired after 45 years.

Ruben volunteered endless hours at St. Joseph Catholic Church, West Tampa Little League, as Administrator of District 6 Baseball, a member of Knights of Columbus, and President of NAPSA.

A visitation for family and friends is scheduled from 4-6 pm on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Blount and Curry Funeral Home located at 605 S. MacDill Avenue Tampa, Fl 33609 followed by a prayer service at 6 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ruben's life.
