Roy Wayne Allen

Born on November 11, 1967, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he was the first son of Cynthia Ann Moore and Roy Dean Allen. Roy embarked on a diverse career path, initially finding a career at Continental Airlines before changing over to barbering. With his talent and dedication, he became a trusted barber, known for his skills, dedication, and warm personality. Eventually, he ventured into entrepreneurship and became a proud part owner of MRM Barbers.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Roy was a beacon of joy and humor. His ability to make others laugh and feel at ease was unparalleled, leaving an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. Whether he was cracking jokes in the barber's chair or sharing stories with friends and family, his presence illuminated the lives of those around him.

Roy will be deeply missed by his family and his colleagues at MRM Barbers. He was preceded in death by his son Gregory Wayne Allen and is survived by his other two children Elena Allen and Roy Ireneo Allen. The laughter may have faded, but the memories of his vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness will endure.

A visitation for Roy will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, followed by a memorial service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Though his time with us was too brief, Roy leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and perseverance. May his memory continue to bring comfort and joy to all who knew him.
