Ronald "Moon" Leslie Mullins

Tampa native Lt. Col. Ronald Leslie “Moon” Mullins, Civil Air Patrol, passed away on October 1, 2019 at the age of 83.

The son of James P. & Orie Mullins and a graduate of Hillsborough High School, Moon served in the U.S. Air Force in Japan, the Civil Air Patrol and was a firefighter for the City of Tampa. Mr. Mullins was married to Patrilla "Pat" Scott. He was preceded in death by his wife. Survivors include his two children; Scott Patrick Mullins and Lisa James Alucard.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, interment to follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
