Oh Ronnie! I just found this page the family made for you and it made me smile and cry. I cry because I have so many memories of you, but now that's all they are are memories. I smile because I know you're with our Lord and I will see you again sometime. Your family had been a part of my family for many years. When I think of you, I remember you being such a father figure to Aaron...he absolutely loved you!! And when you rented my basement and saved me from the roofing guy who kept trying to date me and you came outside with a sandwich telling me "Sweetie, it's time for lunch!"  and he thought you were my boyfriend and left me alone. And especially the time you worked  at the airport and you knew when and where the Detroit Pistons' private jet was coming in, and we took Aaron & Eric there to meet them coming off the plane to get autographs & sign Aaron's basketball. Oh Ronnie...I wish you didn't go so soon! I loved you & Sandy so much. Hang tight and we'll all be there before you know it! Love & miss you, my friend.

I love and miss you so much, but it comforts me that you are in a better place now. You were one of the funniest people I ever had the pleasure to know. You knew how to make anyone laugh and could light up a room. I will never forget some of the hilarious things you used to say and every time I think of you, it will put a smile on my face. Rest in peace and I can't wait to see you again in heaven someday! Love you so much<3

All of my fondest and funniest memories have you and Sandie in them.  I will miss all the fun times we used to spend together. The kids will miss their Uncle Ronnie and how you'd always play with them and make them laugh.  Tyler still talks about those golf clubs you bought him and how you taught him how to play.  Taylor cherished her Uncle Ronnie playing with her doll house with her and always telling her what a sweet girl she was.  Tanner will miss hearing you call him Tan-man!  I have so many wonderful and fun memories I will cherish. One of my favorites was when we took a road trip to Kentucky to pick up Sandie and you played Randy Travis digging up bones at least 1,000 times, I was so sick of that song by the time we got there, but now when I hear it I will always smile because that was our special trip and song. I wish you could have spent more time with Denny he enjoyed and thought the world of you. I'm comforted to know your in Heaven worshiping our Lord finally at peace. Hey knucklehead,
Uncle Ronnie I can't believe you are gone. We all miss you so much, but I know that you wouldn't want us to all be sad,(even though we are deeply) you would probably be making all us laugh so hard we'd have to pee. Thats what I always loved about you. You could always make us laugh no matter what. You always did the funniest things, like wearing those funny glasses, the ones that made you look like Jerry Lewis, or talking in funny voices, or giving us a knuckle sandwich. My favorite memory though, is when you took me to school one day and you packed my lunch, and when I opened my lunch it was just a bunch of candy. No real food just candy, it was the best day ever. And thats how i'll always remember you, making me laugh and always having candy. I love you so much and I will miss you everyday. But I know you are with Jesus and looking down on us. Im so sad I didnt get to say goodbye, but I know I will see you again someday<3

Rest In Peace Uncle Ronnie Calton ? We all love and miss you. We know you are in a much better place. We will all see you again, Im sure you will have a ton of stories and candy for all of us kids when we get there :) and Im sure right now you are golfing with God or making him laugh, you were always good at that. I know you were looking down on us smiling today because the sun was shinning so bright. We will all keep you in our hearts and thoughts, you may be gone but you will never be forgotten. I promise we will all look after all your girls. Love you candy man. You will always be in our hearts.

Ronnie, my first born, I am in such despair, my heart is broken. I don't know why the Lord took you instead of me, but I praise Him that I have that blessed hope of seeing you again one day, because my Redeemer lives. I know that Jesus held your hand as you walked into Heaven, you were not alone. I know you are there with Grammy, whom you loved so much and who loved you. Just think, you and Grammy celebrated Christmas together with Jesus. I miss my little boy and the wonderful man he grew up to be. You blessed my life with your wonderful sense of humor, we had a lot of fun. I miss your sweet voice on the phone at night asking, "how are you mom?"especially when you thought I wasn't feeling well.

Ronnie (my BIG brother), I am so sad that you are not here with us but am happy knowing you are not sad any longer.  It's comforting to know you are in the arms of Jesus and with Grandma, Nannie, Adriene, Unlce Don, Uncle James, Sandie's parents, and the many other family members who have gone on to be with the Lord.  I will truly miss you're humor and all the fun times we all had together (I won't miss the pinches you gave that left bruises though). David will miss his old golfing buddy and  my kids will miss "The Candy Man" and spending time with their Uncle Ronnie.  I miss you and I love you brother!  Your baby sister, Shelly

Ronnie, you were such a special person to me, my brother, my friend. I loved our talks. You could always cheer me up when I was having a bad day and you could make me laugh harder than anyone. One of my favorite memories is when Dad and I flew to Tampa to visit you and Sandie. When we were leaving you were suppose to push our plane out but you switched with someone so you could dance and make funny faces at me so I wouldn't be so upset. Like this one, I have so many memories of you that make me smile. 
I wish Raegan could have spent more time with you and that you could have met baby Zander but I  will ALWAYS tell them how great their Uncle Ronnie was. 
It is hard saying good bye but it's so comforting to know that you are in heaven now, happy and healthy. I will miss you forever and always. I love you so much. I will see you again... "And then those that remain will be quickly changed at the Midnight Cry
