Robert “Bob” Torres of Tampa, passed away peacefully embraced by his loving family on August 14, 2018 at the age of 66. He is survived by his wife Denise of 28 years, and his children Vanessa, Robert and Samantha.
Bob was born on February 10, 1952 in the Bronx, New York. His love of animals led him to be a successful pet shop owner for over 30 years in New York, New Jersey and Tampa.
Bob’s hobbies included fishing, gardening, cooking, music, boxing, UFC and exotic animals. His favorite holiday was Christmas, and spent many weeks every year creating a winter wonderland for his children and neighbors.
He was a man of sharp wit and humor and always brought excitement to a room.
A loving and devoted husband and father, Bob always put his family first.
He is preceded in death by his parents Olga Fox (Jimenez), of Tampa and Roberto Torres of San Sebastián, PR. Survived by brothers and sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
