Robert W. Osborne Sr.

OSBORNE, Robert W., Sr., 89, a lifelong resident of Tampa, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 25, 2014. Born on October 12, 1924, Bob was a US Navy Veteran, having served during WWII. He was a certified public accountant for over 50 years, retiring as the managing partner of Robert W. Osborne and Company. He was a loving and inspirational man, known for his quick wit and generosity, devoted to God, family and friends but especially sharing the Gospel by leading bible studies at church and at University Village. He was a previous member at Seminole Presbyterian and Christ Community Church and is a current member at Lake Carroll Baptist Church. Bob is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Eloise. He is survived by sons Robert Jr. (Susan) of Odessa, FL and Russell (Pam) of Lutz, FL; daughter Sharon Scourtes (Tim Workman) of Tampa; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Lake Carroll Baptist Church, 12012 N. Rome Ave, Tampa, FL with entombment to follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
