He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Lois Guay, and his children Dr. Robert Guay (Sue), Laura Guay, Maria Harvey (James), Janet Guay, and stepchildren Brenda Slupecki, Janet Daggs (Charles) and Ted Hofmann. He is also survived by several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by parents, Anna and Emile Guay, brother Alfred and wife Barbara.
After serving in the Air Force, Bob was employed as an accountant with Gillette and Honeywell.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, Carrollwood, on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow immediately at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Bob’s wonderful and devoted caregivers from Griswald Home Healthcare and the Pink Team at LifePath Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Meals on Wheels of Tampa.
