Robert “Bob” Warner Glazier Sr., age 77, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024. He was born in Tampa on February 13, 1947 to Richard and Mary Glazier. He was a graduate of H.B. Plant High School and the University of South Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
Bob is remembered by many for his years coaching baseball at Palma Ceia Little League, where he was a past President, as well as youth league Raiders football. He remained passionate about sports – an avid supporter of his local Tampa Bay teams – and loved spending weekends watching football and cooking out with his family and friends. He was also passionate about playing and watching golf, fishing and boating, and spent many a summer vacation on Anna Maria Island with his loved ones – who will continue to frequent the special spot in his memory.
Bob worked for 35 years in the medical sales industry with Becton, Dickinson and Co. as a Senior Sales Representative and National Sales Trainer where he won 6 Circle of Excellence Awards.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Cindy Anne Glazier; son, Robert Warner Glazier Jr. (Michelle); daughter, Leslie Glazier Killette; and three grandchildren Tyler Killette, Robert Killette Jr. and Grace Glazier. He is predeceased by his son-in-law, Robert Killette Sr.
A caring, creative soul who left too soon, Bob will be forever remembered as a loving husband, dad and grandpa who always had a story to share and a hug to give.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date that will be shared by the family.
