Robert Edward Elliott

born in Tampa to Bobby and Betty Elliott, who preceded him in death. He is survived by

his devoted wife and best friend of 26 years, Leslie and 2 children: Jordan (Brianna)

Elliott of Windermere, FL and Caroline (Brandon) Clark, grandson, Charles James Clark

of Nashville, TN as well as 3 brothers Mike (Betsy) Elliott of Ft. Lauderdale, Steve

(Becky) Elliott of Tampa, Doug (Natalie) of Tampa cousin Amy Snider of Las Vegas and

many nieces and nephews.

Most recently, Mr. Elliott served as the Chief Administrative Officer and Director and

Secretary of the board of directors of Canopy Communications Group, Inc. a

technology-driven company specializing in wireless broadband and IOT devices for the

commercial market.

Prior to Canopy Communications, Mr. Elliott was a real estate executive with a strong

background in multi-state commercial retail, office, industrial and mixed-use real estate

serving as a Managing Director for RDP Retail, LLC and RDP Management, LLC for

over 15 years. Mr Elliott was the President of Robert E. Elliott, Inc., an independent

commercial real estate company performing services as a consultant for a number

organizations throughout the US, including developing data centers and other technical

facilities. Mr. Elliott began his career with Cushman & Wakefield as an Office

Consultant.

Mr. Elliott attended Leto High School and University of South Florida. As an avid golfer

and member of Avila Golf and Country Club for over 20 years, he cherished his time on

the golf course. He attacked the course as he did in all aspects of his personal and

business life, with vigor and passion. He was affectionately known as “Jumbo” to his

many friends.

The Elliott family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph’s North

for all of their efforts.

The family will hold a private celebration of life on April 23rd 2021.
