Richard Lee Wright

Richard “Rick” Wright 66, passed away December 4, 2022 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio he graduated from Upper Arlington High School and received his Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. He was a true Buckeye fan through and through. He is survived by his wife and life-long partner Rosa, and three sons Paul Leland Wright of Castaic, CA., Andrew Pardo Wright of Tampa, FL., and Richard Alexander Wright of Tampa, FL. Rick was a proud grandpa of 9 grandkids! Paul is the father of Evan 16 and Alexis Wright 14. Andrew is the father of Abigail 15, Madelyn 12, Rosalie 10, Amelia 4 and Clara 3. Richard Alexander is the father of Eliana Rose 4 and Issac Alexander 2.

Rick worked at UPS Corporate Office for 33 years. Once retired, he and his wife enjoyed traveling, going to movies and finding new restaurants with friends. He was a life-long learner always teaching himself and his boys new things. Family was always at the center for Rick and his void will be felt deeply.

Rick’s celebration of life will be on January 20 at 3:00pm at Bayshore baptist church,
