Richard, age 78 of Tampa, Florida passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday evening, September 21st, with his wife Valeria, family, and friends by his side.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Valeria of 43 years; daughter, Danielle Holp; brother, Carl (Nancy) Terry; nephew, Michael (Keri & Alex) Terry.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Edenia Terry; Aunt Jane and Uncle Jack Langford.
Richard loved life and most of all loved his family.
Richard was a 1965 graduate of Plant High School and attended USF, he also served with the Florida National Guard for 6 years.
Richard worked for the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Tampa for 35 Years as a Director for many departments throughout his years of service.
Richard #204 was a member of the 1st. U.S. Volunteer Cavalry Regiment Rough Riders of Tampa since 1989, his rank was Chief 1st. Sergeant, Years of Service Silver Stripes.
He enjoyed, parading, fishing, bowling, racquetball, baseball, and football, especially the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Richard was so loved and will be missed by all.

A visitation for Richard will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood 3207 W. Bearss Avenue Tampa, Florida 33618 on Saturday, November 2, 2024, Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3:30pm.
