Richard E. King Jr peacefully passed away on 3/5/2020 at the age of 74. He was surrounded by his loving family during his final days. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Song King, his sister Sharon Hall, his children Christine Marion and Richard W. King Sr., Son-in-law Frank Marion Jr, Daughter-in-law Michelle King, and 3 wonderful grandchildren, Frankie Marion III, Daniel Marion, and Richard W. King Jr.
Richard was a life-long Boy Scout who loved the great outdoors. Not a day went by where he did not talk about camping or the Boy Scouts. He looked at every young man as a future leader of this country. He also served in the US Army.
He was also an avid animal lover who proclaimed "If there are no animals in Heaven, I don't want to go!" He didn't look at the family animals as just pets, they were all part of the family. Dogs, cats, and Chickens were all their own individual and he respected each one as if they were human.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to 2 organizations near and dear to his heart. Memorials are already set up under his name.
