Richard Chase Jewett

MSGT (Ret.) Richard C. Jewett died on May 19, 2022 in Tampa. Richard is survived by wife, Victoria Carlson Jewett, and daughter, Anne Marie Jewett of Crawfordville, FL; his brother George B. Jewett of Thornton, CO and sisters, Angaharad Jewett Rudolph of Bradenton, FL and Nancy Marie Jewett of Crawfordville, FL. He was “Uncle Dick” to many beloved nieces and nephews.

Richard serviced in the United States Air Force for 22 years as an aircraft mechanic. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked in construction and manufacturing. He was a dedicated member of Palma Ceia United Methodist Church in Tampa and often volunteered in children’s and youth programs there. He was also a Girl Scout volunteer for many years.

A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 2 P.M. at Palma Ceia United Methodist Church, 3723 Bay to Bay Blvd, Tampa 33629 with a reception to follow in the church fellowship hall.
