Richard Gregory Howard

Howard, Richard G., 64 of Gibsonton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. Richard was a lifetime resident of Gibsonton and retired from Mosaic after 39 years of service. He was a 1970 graduate of East Bay High School, had a lifetime love of the river, fishing, and fast cars. He was a devoted son, brother, father, and grandfather who loved his family more than anything. Richard is preceded in death by his loving parents Eldred “Hank” and Mary Cox Howard and his beloved sister Frances “Claudette” Kemen. Richard is survived by his daughter Stacey Kolpin and husband Michael of Valrico, FL; son Tony Howard of Gibsonton, FL; brother David Howard and wife Evelyn of Gibsonton, FL; half sister Judy Alice Davis; two grandchildren Gage Riley Young and Mackenzie Renee Kolpin; numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends for visitation and service will be held on Saturday 9-3 11am at The First Baptist Church of Gibsonton. Visitation will be held 1hr prior and burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church of Gibsonton
