Col. Richard John Busch, USAF (Ret.) passed away January 31, 2022 at the age of 89. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife, Joan, his brother, Eugene, and his daughters Catherine, Rebecca and Wendy and their families.
Richard served his country as an officer in the Air Force for 26 years, and was a devoted member of Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church for more than 40 years, holding several offices in the church.
A memorial service will be held at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church on Sunday, February 13 at 2:30 in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mission committee of Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church.
