It’s been a year since you’ve left, and though everyone’s been going on with their lives, it hasn’t been the same without you. We’re missing your speeches before every cheer, your humor, wisdom, and positivity. There was always a smile on your face, and I can remember your voice through your laughs. If there was ever a truly good person, it would be you. Today, everyone was remembering their last moments with you, but all I can think about is our little inside jokes since I was a child -- from our ramen competition, Baby Stupid, and saying goodbye. Everyone misses you very much, and I hope you’re doing well in heaven. I’m not sure what it’s like up there, but if I were to ask something, please continue to watch us grow and become incredible people. Missing you very much, Ông Ngoại ❤️🕊️

Grandpa has always been an essential part of the family and knowing that he is no longer with us is a shock. It will forever be lonelier when we visit. He always wore a kind smile on his face and it saddens us that we will no longer be able to see it. Now he is in a better place, rest in peace.

Ba ơi!
We never thought of saying goodbye to you forever. Your passing is a great loss to us, but in the depths of our hearts and souls, you are always there. We love, miss and thank Ba always and forever!!!!! ❤️

Thank you for everything you have given us: the precious memories and the valuable lessons in daily life. Thank you for always being understanding of us. And the thing I appreciate most about you is for raising my husband with your wisdom. Without your guidance, he would not be the smart and loving person he is today. 
Now I can talk with you but I can no longer hear your cheerful voice or see your familiar and bright face.

Every year, my family and I fly to Florida to visit my grandpa’s extended family. When we are together it’s always really fun and everyone has a great time! Grandpa was cheerful and told jokes whenever he could. We already booked the plane tickets for Christmas but unlike the previous reunions, Grandpa will not be here anymore. My family and I will truly miss him. Rest in peace Grandpa. We love you so much.



Your untimely departure from this world has been at times unbearable for all of those whose lives you've touched; it is, however, reassuring for us to know you are in a better place without any pain. Your kindness and love for those around you has been a huge impact in our lives. It has taught us treat others in this same regard. Even though Benjamin is unable to grow up with you in his life, we will raise him with the same affection you have shown all of us. We will share stories with him about how wonderful his great grandfather was. You will always have a special place in our hearts, ông Ngoại. Rest in peace.

To me, my grandpa is a loving grandfather who really cares for his family very much. He’s always there for his loved ones. The best memories I ever had with him, is that he always makes me laugh with his amazing humor, he would always tell jokes with me, and he shares his great memories of his past that I never knew about and it always made me fascinated. He was always proud of me when I get good grades. He would do anything to make me happy. He would always try to spend the most time with me when he could before he passes away because he knows that he’s my only grandpa that I ever had. Whenever he felt sick, he would try his best to get better so would have live longer with me. Even he is in heaven right now, he will always be in my heart forever because he is the best grandpa in the world.
