Randolph "Randy" Targos, passed away peacefully on June 20th 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida at the age if 62. Randy is survived by his mother, Bernice of Clifton, New Jersey; his wife Marie, his son James, and his daughter Amanda of West Melbourne, Florida and Dog Tucker. He is predeceased by his father Rudolph, of Clifton, New Jersey. Randy was born on September 18th, 1958 in Passiac, New Jersey to Rudolph and Bernice Targos. He married Marie Albrecht on October 11th, 1996. Over the next 24 years, he loved the Albrecht family as his own. For 20 years, he worked as a state environmental inspector at Passiac Valley Sewerage Commission in Newark, New Jersey. Randy and his family resided in Beachwood, New Jersey before he retired to Florida in 2018. Randy leaves behind his wife Marie, and 2 children, James, 21, and Amanda, 18. Every chance he got, he would brag about his kids' goals and achievements. Randy loved his family very much and would do anything for them. He had a personality that was larger than life. When Randy was not home, he could be found spending time with his "second wife", a 10th anniversary limited edition 1979 TransAm. Randy loved all sports, bowling, and going to car shows. He enjoyed watching the New Jersey Devils with his son James, and taking his daughter Amanda to Sonic to enjoy a Route 44 Strawberry slush. Every year, he hosted a summer barbecue, where be proudly served his world-famous hockey puck burgers. Graveside burial will be June 25th 2021 at 1pm at Garden of Memories in Tampa, Florida. The family would like to thank the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida for their hard work, compassion, and dedication.
