Ralph J. Robbins III, 90, passed away on May 19, 2023 in Tampa, FL. Ralph was a pilot since the age of 17. He was a US Air Force retiree having served 20 years, including time as a steward on Air Force One, having flown all over the world. Ralph was a member of various Aero clubs and worked as a private pilot and flight instructor after his retirement from the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph J. Robbins Jr. and Carolyn Robbins. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Robbins; children Lisa McGuffey, Lori Clark, and Roger Robbins; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers Wayne and Kenneth Robbins; two stepdaughters; two step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Ralph’s Life will take place on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 10AM at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ralph’s name to either LifePath Hospice or the VA.
