Peter loved traveling, good food and the mountains. Peter loved to travel in the summer with his family throughout the United States. The last trip was to Alaska where he always wanted to visit which he did with his family and new granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Daphne C. Spoto, daughters Sophia DeCosta and her husband Brian; Gena Robey and her husband David, grand-daughter Christina Spoto-Robey, his sister MaryJo Calderon, niece Michele De La Paz and husband Dean, nephew Peter J. Calderon III and wife Karen, and great niece Alyssa De La Paz and great nephew Tyler Calderon.
He graduated from Jefferson High School and was a Master Carpenter and was a member of the Florida Local Carpenters Credit Union for many years. When he first married, he built his first home himself for his new wife and their children. Peter was a loving husband and father.
