Peter J. Baker

Peter J Baker, 69, of Wesley Chapel, passed away August 19, 2018. Peter was the oldest son of the late Benson and Avis Myers Baker born on January 9th, 1949 in Providence, Rhode Island. He lived in the Providence and Narragansett area throughout his life until he moved to Florida in 1998. Peter married his wife of 46 years Barbara Knowlton in July 1972. Peter served in the Rhode Island National Guards 1968-1973. He worked in the automotive business before becoming disabled. He liked boating, fishing and cars.

Peter is survived by his wife Barbara Lee Baker;his two sons John Baker and his wife Donna of Wesley Chapel and David Baker of Thonotossa.;one granddaughter Teri Rae Baker;his brother Gary Baker and wife Ronnie of Scottsdale Arizona;one uncle Howard Myers of Providence, Rhode Island and extended family and friends.

A Life celebration will be held at 11 am, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church 6300 Oakley Blvd, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544.
