John, Mary and the rest of the family of Patty Jenkins, I am so sorry for your loss.  May God give you the strength, courage and faith to go through this hard time.
I met Patty Jenkins on a Sunday in 2013 when I had gone to a restaurant called Pach's to have breakfast.  While there, I started talking to a lady named Norma Balcom, whose table was next to mine.  She invited me to join her and others at that table. I found myself meeting her husband Harold Balcom, Joan Rushing and Patty Jenkins, to name a few.  I found out they were regulars at Pach's, going there after the St. Mary's Church service, and I became part of this beautiful group of people.
My meeting with them continued, and I not only saw Patty Jenkins on Sundays, but I also was invited, along with others, to go with her to various other good restaurants in town to eat. We always had so much fun listening to Patty talk about her trips to Atlanta to visit her daughter and family and to Tennessee to visit her grandson and family.
I came to know a lady that had a love for God, and who cared deeply about her family, her friends and the organizations she belonged to. She was a very dependable person, and even when she was not feeling her best, she would be present to take care of whatever task there was to be done. Also,anything she was given to do, the result would always be outstanding. Patty will surely be missed by me and many others of our group.

My sincere condolences to Pam, John and Patty's entire extended family, many close friends and inumerable customers, charitable fellows, and beneficiaries of her many kindnesses. She was a gift to all who had the good fortune of crossing her path, and will be surely missed.

Our family will keep you all in our thoughts during this difficult time, Patty was a wonderful lady and a great friend of our family especially our mother Peggy. She will be greatly missed.
