Patrick Michael Williams, 48, passed from this life on September 22, 2015, surrounded by his family and his girlfriend, Christina. Patrick grew up in Tampa and made it his home for his life, staying near to a circle of true friends, and his family, including his father Dan (predeceased) and mother Ginette, his sister, Yvonne, brother-in-law Simon, niece Jessica and his four-legged companion, Chester. He was half-brother to an older sister, Sara, and a brother, Randall. Patrick was a building contractor and took great pride in the quality of his workmanship. He lived an uncomplicated life of diligent work while finding enjoyment in life’s simple pleasures – sharing a morning cup of coffee with his mother or a glass of wine with Christina in the evenings at the peaceful lake setting of their home, as Chester played underfoot. He treasured every connection with nature and took serious his personal responsibility of caring for this planet. Patrick was a man of uncompromising integrity. He was kind, generous and loyal, the sort of friend we all want to have. Patrick left us far too soon. Those that knew him will miss his mesmerizing eyes, quick dry wit and his generous character. We will hold him close in mind and in spirit. “The song is ended, but the melody lingers on. . .” – Irving Berlin A Mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church on November 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM.
