Patricia “Pat” Villareal, 75, of Tampa passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 in Brandon, Florida. She was born October 17, 1942 in Tampa to her parents Pearl Harris Jordan and Willie Lee Jordan, Sr. She is preceded in death by her husband Rudy A. Villareal as well as her mother and father.
Pat attended Brewster High School from 1957-1960 where she was secretary of FBLA, a cheerleader, calendar girl and Queen of Trades. After graduation she met and married Rudy where they settled in Brandon to raise their daughters.
She was passionate about gardening and loved flowers, particularly tropical plants and orchids. Her yard was always full of blooming life. She was an amazing cook and loved to have her family gathered at her home for any type of celebration. She was very creative her entire life with sewing, painting ceramics, creating flower arrangements and making ornate beaded Christmas ornaments. Pat also enjoyed traveling and made several trips to Hawaii with her husband, a cruise to Alaska and a memorable trip to Costa Rica with her best friend Carolyn Perkins.
Patricia is survived by her daughters Elaine M. Villareal (Cole Akins, Jr), Denise J. Ward, Deborah A. Waytovich (David Waytovich), her brother Willie Lee Jordan, Jr., nephew Christopher L. Jordan and the lights of her life her grandchildren Meagan Alexander, Caitlin Alexander, Brianna Alexander, Justin Ward, Marissa Ward, Evan Waytovich and Nicole Waytovich.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Rosecastle at Delaney Creek of Brandon for their loving care and kindness during their mother’s time there.
She will be missed by her family and many friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 5-7pm at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E Lake Avenue Tampa, Fl. Funeral service will take place on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 10am at the funeral home.
