NOEL, Patricia Crumbaker, 98, passed away on February 16, 2016. She was born in Abingdon, IL. and resided in Tampa since 1969. Prior to retiring in 1998, she worked at Florida Mining and Materials for many years. She enjoyed visiting Busch Gardens and Epcot with family and kept busy reading and completing hundreds of crossword puzzle books. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sr. and daughters, Mary and Ann. Patricia is survived by her sons, John Jr. and James; daughter, Kathleen, all of Tampa; grandchildren, Valerie, Victoria, Joe, Maggie, Peggy, Stacy and Lyle; four great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter. In her final years, Pat was cared for by the wonderful staff at Shady Palms Assisted Living. The family is extremely grateful to Shady Palms and for all the nurses of LifePath Hospice. A celebration of Pat's life will be held from 1:00-3:00 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Avenue, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made in Pat’s name to Shady Palms Assisted Living, 14527 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, FL 33613.
