Parker Timothy Hayes, born June 23, 1998, tragically passed away November 11, 2016. Parker was a lifelong Carrollwood Day School student and was now a senior at CDS. He had recently been accepted as a UA scholar at the University of Alabama and was looking forward to receiving acceptances from the University of Florida and Florida State University. Parker's friendships knew no bounds. He had friends of all ages and with many interests. Parker's pursuits spanned the theater, politics, skeet shooting, metal working, skiing, studies of different cultures and historic events and world events. He loved hanging out with friends. Parker was a prankster - he loved to have fun and was the first one who could laugh at himself. He was quick-witted and often employed a quip to make his point. His caring nature was illustrated by his decision to register for organ donation when he received his driver's license at 16. Because of this decision, Parker's life continues on in the lives of multiple fortunate recipients. Parker was the son of Timothy and Sharilyn (Musch) Hayes and the brother of Sheridan Hayes of Lutz, Florida. He is survived by his immediate family, Tim, Sharilyn and Sheridan; maternal grandparents, Floyd and Maxine Musch of Jacksonville, Illinois; aunts, Sue (Howard) McGee of Arvada, Colorado; Laurel Eckhardt of Springfield, Illinois; cousin, Christopher Eckhardt of Springfield, Illinois; paternal grandparents, Gordon and Gloria Hayes of Homosassa, Florida; aunt, Sharon Hayes of Morgantown, West Virginia; uncle, Gordon Hayes of Homosassa, Florida; cousins, Megan (Chris) Dolese of Leesburg, Virginia; Matthew Stone of Newark, Delaware; Grant Hayes of Austin, Texas; along with many family members and friends. Parker's Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Carrollwood Day School gym (1515 W Bearss Avenue, Tampa, FL). Following the service, friends are invited to gather at The Brass Tap (10047 N Dale Mabry Avenue, Tampa, FL) for refreshments and conversation. This is not a funeral, but rather a Celebration of Parker's life. Parker would want us to be happy. Please feel free to dress casually. Online condolences may be expressed at www.blountcurrycarrollwood.com The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to LifeLink Legacy Fund, 9961 Delaney Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33619 or online at www.lifelinkfoundation.org in memory of Parker Hayes.
