Olga Marcela Falcon, born in Havana, Cuba on January 17, 1927, she met the love of her life, David, at the age of 13. They married in 1952, and moved to Florida in 1955 with their daughter, Leona. Four years later they had their son, David. They were married for 42 years.
Olga worked as a secretary in her youth until her children were grown when she went into the medical field, working as a medical assistant. Upon the birth of her first grandchild, she retired, wanting to spend time with her grandchildren. A loving mother and grandmother who always had a smile on her face, Olga would drop everything in a second when needed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her two children, Leona, David; four grandchildren, Oscar, Debralee, Jacquelene, Brittany; two great-grandchildren, Sofia and Milo.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 17 at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
Flowers will be accepted at the funeral home.
