Olga Lezcano DeFabia, 95, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away September 10, 2022, with her family nearby. She was born on April 6, 1927, in Tampa, Florida. She lived in Tampa, New York, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, and Lake Worth.
Olga is survived by her son, Jimmy, his wife, Monica, and two grandchildren, Brontë and Shiloh Emily. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Essie, nieces, nephews, and a long list of great-nieces and great-nephews. Olga was predeceased by her husband, Jimmy, Sr in 1992. Nine siblings also predeceased her.
Olga had a long career with the Salvation Army, managing the large thrift store at the Social Service Center in Miami for more than 20 years. Later, she was a kindergarten teacher at the Salvation Army Corps in Hialeah.
Olga was known for her faith and undying love for her family. She was immensely proud of her family, especially her grandchildren. She leaves behind beautiful memories of a life well lived. As her health declined, she often said, "Don't cry for me. I am ready."

The funeral service will be at the Salvation Army Church at 1100 W Sligh Ave, Tampa, FL 33604 at 11 am on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
The interment is the following day at 3 pm at Garden of Memories Cemetery 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
An additional Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 24 in South Florida (Time and place TBA)
