Norma Torre Valdes, 93, of Tampa, passed away August 28, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Valdes, Sr., son, Robert E. Valdes, Jr. and grandson, C.J. Tosca. She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine Tosca, daughter in law, Theresa Valdes; grandchildren Lori Dious (Chris), Kimberly Varjabedian (Shaant), Susan Alvarez (Jason), Jessica Adams (Steve), Lauren Baer (Ryan) and Matthew Tosca; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered for her sweet smile and humorous stories and comments. Our heartfelt thanks for the compassionate care she was given at The Inn at University Village, and Florida Hospital 4 Main and 3 North. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 10:00 am Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Cancer Center, 4901 W.
