Nelson A. Ureña Cepeda, 65, sadly but peacefully passed away at home from brain cancer on December 11, 2023. Nelson was born in Moca, Dominican Republic to Olimpia Cepeda and Jose "Papo" Ureña. Nelson was a sibling to Mabel, Rafael "Ñin," Leonor "Lolo," Ramon "Papi," Domingo "Leon" (decd), Yovannia "Yova," and Yuderka "Yudy." Family was most important to Nelson. You would often find him fixing something at home (that may not need fixing), repairing a car, playing dominoes with his family, or enjoying his favorite pastime, fishing with his wife. Nelson was a respected and beloved business owner, who viewed his clients as his extended family. He will be remembered for his humor, unique dance style, and most importantly for his loyalty and big heart. Above all, Nelson's greatest pride and joy was the life he built with his wife, Carmen Tejada. They together raised their three greatest treasures, their children, Carolina, Nelson R., and Patricia. He is also survived by his children-in-law Edgar and Meagan, and his adored grandchildren Edgar A. and Samantha.
