Nancy Jo Pupello

90, of Tampa, passed away on June 6, 2017 at her home. Born on March 22, 1927 in Bascom, Florida. Nancy was married to her beloved husband Frank for 62 years. Frank predeceased her in 2013. Nancy is survived by her children Michael, Fran, Michelle and son-in-law Dan Dowell, grandchildren Vanessa and David Carpenter, Michael Frank, Melanie and Curtis Jorgensen, Meghan, Matt and Abby and Will Dowell, Zack and Jake Heiny and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law and lifetime friend, Peggy Pupello, her cousin and might as well be sister, Willie Jean Maddox and numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her ever present smile, grace and calmness provided a home not only for her family, but for their many friends. Her kitchen was always open and well stocked and if you were fortunate enough to enjoy Sunday spaghetti, you never forgot it. She was truly a model for how to parent a family and will never be forgotten by anyone who met her. The family would also like to thank Yolanda, Carmen, Betty, and Nelly for their love and care over the past 4 years. The family will receive family and friends at 11am on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, MacDill Avenue chapel. At noon, a short service will be conducted in the chapel by her Pastor, Kerry Nance of Southside Baptist Church. Private burial services for her extended family will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy’s memory to Southside Baptist Church, 3911 W.
