I am so sad to hear of Mary’s passing. I knew her years ago when we worked at Eastern Airlines.  We had such a good time and traveled together a few times with our daughters.  I did not know about Alyssa either. So sad. My heart goes out to the boys and all the family. I have very good memories of her to cherish. 

I have so many great memories of working with Mary.  She made such a great impression on me as a young new leader at Medco. I always gained such wonderful knowledge and insight from the training classes on leadership that she would conduct and lead. I also admired Mary for her always having a smile and her incredible positivity.  Mary understood the impact that a leader can have on their employees as she certainly made it on all of us that had the privilege to work with her and know her. I will miss her, but I am better for having known her and worked with her and learned so much that I take with me to this day. Jeff and Chad, I am so sorry to hear about your sweet mom.  I can’t believe you two have been through so much in the last few years.  I think of both of you so often.  We did have some crazy times together when we were all at Bayshore.  We traveled out of town to so many basketball games with your mom and had such a good time.  There was also the time we went to Disney one Saturday night and then to the movie before going back to Tampa.  When we got home it was daylight and I was exhausted.  Frances and I thought we could keep up with you.  There was also the trip to the mountains for a week and the fun day we spent in Gatlinburg.  We tried to burn the condo down lighting the bar b cue grill we weren’t even supposed to have.  Jeff and Christi were trying to show everyone else who the best fire starter was.  There were many other fun times but I can’t possibly write them all.  Maybe these brought a little smile to your faces in such a heartbreaking time as this.  I am going to be in Orlando beginning Tuesday night and if you will send me a phone number I would love to see you both.  My number is 813 505 2541. My heart breaks for the loss of such an amazing person. I worked with Mary at Cigna for 15 years. When I was asked to facilitate a class under her,  I was terrified. What I did not know was I was learning from the very best! She taught me not only the skills I needed, but the passion that was needed to develop myself into my career I love. You honestly could not ask for a better mentor. To all of her family and friends, may care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead. My most sincere condolences! 


My beloved niece Mary Wooten  will be missed by so many.  She was such a giving and caring person, she would do without to give to others. She was such a good influence on her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly.  She was ready to enjoy her
Retirement with doing some traveling and spending more time with her youngest grandson JJ. So sad she didn’t get to do either.  There are so many good memories she left myself and many others with.

I first met Mary in 2001 when I started working for Medco. I admired Mary for her passion for the work that she did, for her care of the people she lead, and the optimism in which she approached each day. Mary was a good and kind person. And those are the best types of people to work with her. I didn’t know Mary outside of work, but the reality is we spend so much time at work that the influences of others that we work with loom large. Mary’s impact on my professional life and career was significant. I became a better leader, and thus  a better person for knowing and working with Mary.

I am so sorry for the pain of the loss her family is experiencing. I hope that they take comfort in the memories they carry with them and the love that she had for them. 

I met Mary when she was hired at Medco.      She was always very nice and professional.   My deepest condolences to her family.   

I worked with Mary for over 20 years and I always felt like I was in her shadow; not in a competition way; but rather a " I want to earn the love and respect that she has cultivated over the years". Smart.. Articulate .Understanding..Patient..Welcoming.."
She was well established in her career when I was starting mine; and yet, I have always held her as the gold standard; which I am humble enough to say I will never come close to achieving. 
Mary was proud of her family and when we had time to chat on on-site visits; you could feel the pride and love she had for her family.
My heart is offered to all of those who have been blessed enough to have spent time, in any capacity, to Mary.  She has improved my life and I am certain I am not the exception.

I worked with Mary at Medco/Express Scripts for many years. Mary was one of the kindest people I encountered in my 20+ years.  Your Mother was admired by everyone.  I am sincerely sorry for your loss. 

My deepest condolences to Mary's family and friends!  Mary was a gentle soul, always giving of herself, and I feel so blessed to have worked with her for many years.  I always enjoyed our conversations and enjoyed seeing the huge smile that would come across her face when sharing stories about her grandson.

Mary was such a kind and caring person. I am going to miss her wonderful spirt. One thing she loved to share with me was how much she loved and how proud she was of her grandson. Sending kindness, care and love to her entire family.
