PATTON, Mary Kathleen, 89, of Tampa, passed away June 24, 2021. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Delilah and Andrew Libby; granddaughters Patricia Bloxsom, Maureen R. Libby, Samantha Patton, April Lane, Tiffany Serrano; two grandsons Patrick and Thomas Patton; and eleven great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Patton and four children, Robert S. Patton, Ruby Cooney, Timothy Patton and Joseph Patton and by one grandson, Robert L. Patton. Mary grew up as a farmer and continued to keep a garden of her favorite tomatoes. She was a seamstress at the HIS Store and Big & Tall Stores in Carrollwood for 10 years. She was an avid quilter, winning many Blue Ribbons and Best in Show awards at shows sponsored by The Workshop of Tampa Bay Quilt Guild. The family will receive friends at 10-11am Tuesday, July 13 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610, with internment immediately following at 11am at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
