Our mother’s journey on this earth ended peacefully on March 1, 2023, just shy of her 97th birthday. Born before the Great Depression, Mary met her husband, our father, Gene, upon his return from WWII. Together they raised three children, found success in real estate, and maintained an active, rich social life among their extended family and close-knit group of friends. Mary and Gene were married for 65 years, until our father’s death in 2013; our lives were never quite the same without him. Our beautiful mother leaves behind her three children (spouses), Charlene Fernandez (Gaston) of Tampa, Beverly Fuller (Joseph) of Fort Myers, and Dennis Manelli (Leslie) of Tampa; her four grandchildren, Whitney Fuller (Javor Bracic), Joseph “Trey” Fuller (Leighana), Kara Manelli, and Jenna Manelli; and four great-grandchildren, Quinn Fuller, Isla Mell Fuller, Ford Fuller, and Josephine Lia Fuller Bracic—all of whom she loved and adored and all of whom loved and adored her. Many thanks to the LifePath Hospice team for their support in Mary’s final days, and a special thank you to Myriam and Ramon Chang for their incredible kindness and compassionate care during our mother’s last year of life. The family requests those who wish to make a memorial donation to consider giving to Lifepath Hospice. A private family memorial service will be held on April 1st, 2023.
