Mary Moran Johnson

Johnson, Mary Moran 96 passed away peacefully in her home early Wednesday morning July 25, 2018. Mary was born on September 19, 1921 in Brighton, Illinois. She married Lee Johnson of Farmington, Missouri in 1942. Together they enjoyed sixty-seven years of marriage until Lee passed in 2009. She is survived by her two sons Roger Johnson (Lola) and Craig Johnson (Beth); her grandchildren Lee Johnson, Matthew Johnson (Dana) and Lauren Johnson; her step-grandchildren Steve Freeman (Mary) and David Freeman (Sheila); her step-great grandchildren Justin Freeman, Alex Freeman, Jake Freeman, Tatyana Freeman, and Svetlana Freeman; her sister Evelyn McGraw; and numerous nieces and nephews. After living in Alton, Illinois; St. Louis, Missouri; Santa Maria, California; and El Paso, Texas, she lived much of her adult life in Huntsville, Alabama where she raised her two children and served as a Red Cross volunteer for over twenty years. She moved to Lutz, Florida in 1990 upon retirement. Visitation will be held Friday, July 27th at 10:00 a.m. at the Blount and Curry Funeral Home at 3207 W. Bearss Ave, Tampa, Florida.
