Mary F French

Mary Frances (Vermillion) French, 72, of Tampa, Florida, and formerly of Marengo, Ohio, went to be with our Lord surrounded by her family on Nov. 22, 2013. Mary moved to Tampa in 1962 where she lived and raised her family. Her greatest love was for her family who were at her side throughout her illness and were the light of her entire life. She loved painting, cooking, and writing children’s stories. Mary was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Vermillion of Marengo, and loving companion Dr. Max McConnell of Tampa. She is survived by daughter & son-in-law Karen & Jerry Bradford, three grandchildren, Ryan & Christina Bradford, Nicole & Joel Harvey, and Veronica Bradford, and seven great-grandchildren, all of Tampa, sisters Margaret (Paul) Ruehrmund of Phoenix, AZ, Martha(Bill) Conley of Marengo, OH, and brother Dave (Melissa) Vermillion of Marengo, OH, in addition to many nieces and nephews. Our entire family will be forever grateful to Dr. Matthew Fink and the nursing staff at Florida Cancer Specialists for giving us much more time with our beloved Mary Frances. A private memorial for immediate family was honored.
