ALLEN, Mary Lou, 90, of Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2016 at Weinberg Village, as a result of Alzheimer’s Disease. Mary Lou worked many years as a receptionist in a Veterinarian’s office but she was most proud of her thirty years as an Army wife. Mary Lou is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Harry E. Allen, the love of her life. She is survived by five children, Jim (Pam) Allen, Jane (Jim) Spencer, Barb (Deb) Owens, Patti (Bill) Chastain and Pam (Billy) Dickens. She was a much beloved Meemaw to eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Weinberg Village for their loving care of our special Mother. A graveside service will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery on July 15, 2016 at 10AM.
