Mary H Allen

Allen, Mary Helen passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, February 20th, 2021. She was born on September 15th, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio and was 75 years old. She graduated nursing school in 1966 from Good Samaritan College of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a registered nurse for over 50 years. Mary moved to Tampa, FL with her family in 1980 and spent the latter half of her career working for the Fetal Therapy Group at St. Joseph Women’s Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Loretta Richardson; sisters Jo Ann Birt and Barbara Follin. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Carl Lynn Allen; her two children, Kevin Allen (Shawn) and Kathy Larson (Kris); her three grandchildren, Ian Larson, Chelsea Larson, Jake Allen and her brother James Richardson.

The family wishes to thank family, friends, St. Mary’s Church, and LifePath Hospice for their condolences and support through this difficult time. Mary was deeply loved and will be missed by all who encountered her, and her legacy will not be forgotten.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday March 5, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church located at 15520 N. Blvd. Tampa, FL 33613, followed by burial at 12:30 pm at the Florida National Cemetery at 6502 S. W. 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
