Mark spent 33 years working for a multi-discipline engineering firm and retired as a senior construction administrator. He was highly regarded by colleagues for a strong work ethic and loved the people with whom he worked. In his spare time, Mark enjoyed various hobbies: fishing, woodworking, building his sound system, and spending time with those he loved.
Mark was predeceased by his father, Raymond Erkkila, and his brother, Keith Erkkila. He is survived by his former wife, Sherryl Erkkila, and their children, Seth Bell and Hanna Erkkila, mother, Clara Erkkila, and brother, Craig Erkkila (Karla Erkkila). Mark will be deeply missed and will forever hold a place in our hearts.
A celebration of life gathering for Mark will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Blount and Curry Funeral Home Oldsmar West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 SILVERMILL DR, TAMPA, FL 33635, with a memorial service beginning at 1PM.
