Marina Isabel Calles Vega

Our beloved mother Marina Isabel Calles Vega, age 75, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. She is survived by her children Stanley Gamez and Tatiana Gamez, her grandchildren, Aliazey Liciaga, Stanley Gamez, Shakirian Bonebreak and her 4 great-grandkids.

A woman who, from a young age, had the vision of becoming an entrepreneur, not only for her personal growth but also for the betterment of her children. Through sacrifice and hard work, she was able to move forward and provide us with a dignified and exemplary education. We, her children, are deeply grateful and proud of the guidance she gave us. Her wisdom continues to inspire us, shaping the way we educate and guide the next generations.

My mom was a fighter, she fought against cancer for five years, she was a warrior and she fought until the end and while we know that she is at peace and that her fighting and suffering days have come to an end, there is a lot of pain and emptiness in our hearts even though she is gone, she will always be in our hearts and will be in our memories forever.

Mom, I know how proud you were of us. Rest in peace, knowing that you will always live on in our hearts and prayers.
