Marilyn Martin Carley

Carley, Marilyn Butler, 86, of Tampa entered into rest on Sunday, April 26, 2015. Marilyn was born in Greenville, Pennsylvania to the late Niles and Helen Martin. She lived in Mentor, Ohio until 2008 when she moved to Tampa, Florida. Marilyn was a secretary at Lakeland Community College in Mentor, Ohio. She belonged to Mentor United Methodist of Mentor, Ohio and United Church of Christ of Kirtland, Ohio; as well as a member of Brentmoor Garden Club of Mentor, Ohio. Marilyn leaves behind her son, Gregory W Butler and his wife Julie of Chadron, NE; two daughters, Amy J Dapore and her husband Anthony of Tampa, FL, and Ann Sansone and her husband Joel of Coral Springs, FL; two sisters, Nancy Schweikert of Hudson, OH, and Sally Shannon of Jamestown, PA; six grandchildren, Jillian Craig, Andrew Dapore, Chelsea Sansone, Tyler Dapore, Bonnie Sansone and Lacey Dapore; and three great grandchildren, Piper, Paiton, and Parker Craig. She now joins in heaven her husband, William F Butler and Richard Carley. A memorial service will be on Monday, May 4 at 1pm in the Chapel at John Knox Village, 4100 E Fletcher Ave, Tampa, FL 33613; with a gathering at the Dapore family home from 5-8pm. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the AL staff at John Knox Village for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to LifePath hospice in Marilyn’s name.
