Marie Dolores Ruiz

Marie D. Ruiz met Oscar Ruiz Jr. in New York in 1960 and they were married in 1962. Marie Ruiz worked as a Costco food demonstrator services in Lutz, Florida.

Marie was a wonderful cook, enjoyed to prepare meals for her family and friends. She also enjoyed going to any athletic events, for her grandchildren, niece and nephews. She enjoyed traveling around the world with her family and friends.

Marie D. Ruiz was a proud mother and dedicated wife. Marie and Oscar Ruiz experienced life together throughout their many years of marriage. They were dedicated to each other, they traveled to many vacation destinations, with their family and friends.

Marie was known best for her religion, strengths and her willingness to help anyone. She worked all her life, because she enjoying being around people. She was an incredible wife, mother, aunt, and friend to everyone.

Marie will be missed but not forgotten!

Marie was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Ruiz Jr.; her parents Nemensio and Lydia Alverio. She is survived by her son Richard Ruiz (Amy Ruiz), Katherine Cerio (Gregory Cerio), 6 grandchildren Thomas Pena, Kayla Pena, Ethan Cerio, Max Ruiz, Chase Ruiz, and Heyden Ruiz; Her sister Blanca Ruiz, brothers Eddie Alverio and Chico Alverio.

A visitation will take place on Friday, January 10, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, January 11, 2020, at 10:00 AM at Garden of Memories, Tampa, FL.
