Marilú Vargas-Prada, 80, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Dec. 5 by her loved ones. She was born on Sept. 28, 1941 to Luis Guillermo Alarcón and Lilia Brenes in Lima, Peru. She moved to Tampa in 1979, where she lived a rich life, led by example and always fostered family unity. She was the loving wife of Pedro Vargas-Prada and the mother of Ana Luisa Rados (Keith), Pedro Vargas-Prada (Adi), Virginia Damm (Marcus) and Augusta Leigh (Howard), as well as eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Marta Sánchez-Aizcorbe and is survived by her brother Luis Guillermo Alarcón.
