GONZALEZ, Maria, 81, of Tampa passed away on October 19, 2016. She is survived by her loving husband of over 60 years, Luis; sons, Luis M Gonzalez Jr. of Tampa and Helbert Gonzalez of Arizona; daughters, Elaine Gonzalez, Nilsa M. Gonzalez, and Ana L. Suchini, all of Tampa; grandchildren, Angela Y Gonzalez, Marissa L. Suchini, Luis M. Gonzalez III, Helbert Gonzalez, Jr; and great grandson Logan A. Gonzalez; daughters-in-law, Lidia E Gonzalez and Zoraida Gonzalez; son-in-law, Giovanni Suchini; siblings, Eugenio Rolon, Josian Rolon, Roberto Rolon, Ana T Rolon; half brothers and sisters, Lydia Mateo, Jose L Rolon, Samuel Rolon, Julio E Plaza, Maria Rolon, Juanita Rolon, and Carmen Oyola; and many other loved nieces, nephews, cousins and family members. Born in Puerto Rico, Luis and Maria moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1990 from Bridgeport, CT. Family will receive friends from 1-3pm on Sunday, October 23 at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Dr, Tampa. A funeral will follow at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa FL to help persons and families in need in Maria’s memory.
