Margaret E Williams

Margaret was born in St. Augustine, Florida to Bennie Wright, Sr., and Carrie Wright on September 16, 1927. She graduated from Douglass High School in Key West, Florida. Margaret was a full time homemaker and was very active in Bethel AME Church in Pensacola, Florida for many years. She was involved in several organizations in Bethel AME Church, including the Stewardess Board, the Adult Choir and Senior organizations.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Jane Wright, and Kathy (Atlas) Greer; son, Kurtis (Merrill) Williams; many grandchildren, including Seniqua Robinson, Adrian Greer, Chris Holloman, Tamika Holloman, Carita King, Felicia Burns, Daniele Pagan, Vincent (Jeanette) Blount and Tammy Buckney; and many great grandchildren, including Marquis Robinson. She is also survived by her brother, Gibson Wright.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents Carrie and Bennie Wright Sr.; loving husband, Hobart Williams; sons, James Holloman, Hobart Williams, Jr., and Charles Williams; daughters, Annie Blount and Ruth Taylor; sisters, Edith Green and Annie Mae Wright; and brothers, Willie Wright, Bennie Wright Jr., Bennie and Charlie Wight.

A virtual memorial service will be held on August 1, 2020 at 11:00 am.
