Margaret E Harris

Margaret (Peggy) Harris was born on November 11,1936 in McKeesport PA to John and Rebecca Holden. Peggy passed away peacefully on September 19, 2023 at Melech Hospice House.

Peggy served in the Marines till she met her husband John, who was serving in the Navy. They were married in 1956 and raised four children while John continued to serve. They were married 65 years at the time of John's passing.

Peggy loved camping and traveling with her family. They took many trips around the country that included their grandchildren as well. She loved watching "her boys" Tampa Bay Rays, Buccaneers and Lightning play.

Peggy was a member of Sheldon Road Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children Loretta Potz (Bob) of Tampa, Leslie Layman (Tracy) of Birch Tree MO, John Harris III (Nancy) of Tampa, Grady Harris (Debbie) of Franklin TX. She was a loving Grandma of 12 and Great Grandma of 16.

There will be a family guided Memorial Service at a later date.
