BOYD, Margaret 95,of Thonotosassa, Fl (formerly of Tampa and Sun City Center) passed away on May 6, 2015. Margaret was born in Winnipeg, Canada, and came to the United States with her parents when she was an infant. She had resided in the Tampa area since 1938 and worked for Doctors Lott and Trupp during her career in the medical profession. Following her retirement, she volunteered at Tampa General Hospital for over 25 years. Margaret was predeceased by her parents and her husband of 53 years, William L. Boyd. She is survived by her sons William and Robert Boyd (Marjorie); grandson, Billy Boyd (Rebecca); great grandchildren, Katie, Abbie and Hunter Boyd; cousins in Canada and England. Funeral service will take place on Monday, May 11, 2015, at 3pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, Fl. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
