Luz Maria Perez

Luz "Lucy" Maria Perez was born on February 14, 1958 in New York, New York, to Maria Luisa Rodriguez and Francisco Ramos. She passed away peacefully at home in Zephyrhills, Florida on December 15, 2023 after a long battle with Parkinson. Lucy was 65 years of age.

Lucy is survived by her loving daughters Judith Alvarez , Michelle Velazquez and husband Bryan Velazquez. Her granddaughters Stephanie Carter and partner Jose Bermudez, Kayla Velazquez, Lezlie Velazquez, Mia Brown and husband Cylas Brown. Her grandsons Juan Velazquez, Dayvean Velazquez and Xavier Velazquez. Her great-granddaughters Skylar Carter and Vanessa Bermudez. Great-grandsons Isaiah Velazquez and Carter Bermudez, brothers Raymond Ramos and Rafael Ramos. Lucy was predeceased by her father Francisco Ramos and mother Maria Luisa Rodriguez as well as her husband Jamez Perez.

Lucy will always be remembered as a free spirit. The life of the party and the one always ready for an adventure. She gave a good fight but her loved ones are happy that she is at peace and reunited with the love of her life watching down on them from heaven.
