Louis Charles Santana 79 years of age, lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida passed away on November 4. He was born on October 6, 1945. He attended Jefferson Highschool where he graduated in 1963 and went on to study at the University of South Florida. After graduation, he worked as an Optician for the next 40 years until he retired in January 2020.
After retiring him and Jeanie enjoyed travelling and spending time with their dance group, The Tampa Bay Beach Boppers. He also loved spending time with his children and making memories with his grandchildren.
Louis is preceded in death by his parents, Angel and Elisa Santana and brother-in-law Mario Herce. He is survived by his daughter Jackie Santana-Isajar, son Jonathan Santana, four grandchildren Devin, Dylan, Derek, Caiden, a great grandson Devin Santana Jr (DJ), his brother Charlie Santana (Trish), sister Sandra Herce, many nieces, and his loving life partner, Jeanie Fogarty. Louis was loved by his entire family and will be greatly missed.
A visitation for Louis will be held Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Blount&Curry Funeral Home @ Garden of Memories, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610, followed by a memorial service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
